1. I’m home today

I am taking one day and one night off from my work to visit as many friends as possible on g+ . I want to take this time reading your posts slowly. Not sure how many friends I can visit.
  2. A real wise man

    13

A man is not called wise because he talks and talks again, but if he is peaceful, loving and fearless then he is in truth called wise.
     ~Buddha, from The Dhammapada
  3. Cambodian Opposition Leader will be in USA on August 10

  4. Speak or Act with a Pure Mind

    25

    We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with an impure mind
    And trouble will follow you
As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.

    We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with a pure mind
    And happiness will follow you
    As your shadow, unbreakable.

    How can a troubled mind
    Understand the way?
Your worst enemy cannot harm you
As much as your own thoughts, unguarded.

    But once mastered,
No one can help you as much,
Not even your father or your mother.

    ~Dhammapada The Buddha

  5. Winning and Losing

    22

    Winning gives birth to hostility.
Losing, one lies down in pain.
The calmed lie down with ease,
having set winning & losing aside.

    Dhammapada 15.201 The Buddha

  6. Hope is Courage

    24

No matter how hopeless or bleak things appear, the moment always comes when suddenly our spirit revives, and hope is reborn. That is why we must never give up. ~Daisku Ikeda
  7. So Precious

  8. Do something that makes you Smile

    23

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. ~ Og Mandino

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
