1. I have felt your heart

    53
    Hope
    Is kind.
    Therefore
    I mix with hope.
    Hope
    Is swift.
    Therefore
    I run with hope,
    Hope
    Is brave.
    Therefore
    I collect boundless strength
    From hope.
    Hope
    Is sincere.
    Therefore
    I invite hope
    To accompany me
    To the Golden Shore.

  2. If I could make soft raindrops fall

    22
It’s hard to see someone I love
    be hurt in any way.
If I could make soft raindrops fall,
    they’d melt your pains away.
If rainbows brought a smile to you
    then rainbows I would send.
For peace of mind and happiness
may keep you on the mend.
If I could send you sunshine,
I’d do it in a flash.
I would wrap the rays around you
    like a warm, comfy sash.
Instead I’ll send you what I can
    and this is it happens to be;
A little verse of what you mean
the most of all to me.
You’re in my thoughts all thru the day
    and in my prayers too,
for in my heart I have a place
    especially for you.

  3. Smiling in Infectious

    32
Smiling is infectious; you catch it like the flu, When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too. I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin, When he smiled I realized I’d passed it on to him. I thought about that smile then I realized it’s worth, A single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth. So, if you feel a smile begin, don’t leave it undetected. Let’s start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!! KEEP THE SMILES GOING.

  4. The Wonders of Nature

    37
As the day begins to end
    take your shoes off…
    roll up your jeans…
    feel the water…
    sit back…
    you are about to experience
    the wonders of nature….
the radiance of color as the
    sun sets into the water…
    peaceful sounds in the air
    wash away the day….
    candlelight dinner…
    enhanced with music…
    honest conversation…
each day is a gift wrapped
    in surprises….
    relish adventure of
    a perfect evening….

  5. Love is not liking somebody

    31

Love is not liking somebody. Anyone can do that. Love is loving things that sometimes you don’t like. ~Ajahn Brahm

  6. Everyone says that Loves hurts — Not true

    67

Everyone says that loves hurts, but that’s not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Everyone confuse these things with love but reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again. ~Unknown

  7. Love is something we cherish dearly

    44
    Love is something,
    we all cherish dearly.
    When we lose it,
    our hearts ache severely.
    Trust is something,
    we share with a few.
    It requires honesty,
and a heart that is true.
    Love without trust,
    is foolishly blind.
    It’s easy to lose,
    and easy to find.
    Trust without love,
    is often quite fake.
    It won’t give much,
    but will happily take.
    Love and trust,
    go hand in hand.
    When together,
    this dance is quite grand.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
