1. Love the Ones You Love

    41

They might leave sooner than you know

Loss never helps anyone move on,
    only holds them from,
seeing what is right in front of them,
    love the ones you love,
you don’t know when they will leave,
    when life gets hard,
    and hands you an obstacle,
    even with teary eyes,
    jump it,
or you will not continue in life,
    try until you jump it,
your life will be put on pause
    until you jump,
    up and over,
    love the ones you love,
they might leave sooner than you know

  2. Look Deeper Into People

    49

Life has taught me that, sometimes, one must look deeper into people and see their true spirit, what drives them, and who they are, rather than just looking at the outside person. Many misjudgments have been made simply because one was too lazy, too blind, or did not care enough to find the truth or look into another’s heart. ~Michelle Williams

  3. Kindness always brings peace to soul & mind

    30

    Kindness is a precious jewel
That one can give to another
    Kindness is a priceless gem
That can help you in future.
    Kindness does not require money
    It requires true care
    And affection, love & knowledge
    Today which are very rare.
    Kindness always brings
    Peace to soul & mind
    No better way of salvation
Other than kindness you would find.
    Kindness cannot be only shown
    By people adult and old
    Kindness can be shown by
    Any heart pure like gold.

  4. Strength of a Man

    90

The strength of the man isn’t in the width of his shoulders
It’s in the width of his arms that circle you.

The strength of the man isn’t in the deep tone of his voice
It’s in the gentle words he whispers.
    .
The strength of the man isn’t in how he is respected
It’s in how he respects you.

The strength of the man isn’t in how hard he hits
It’s in how tender he touches.

The strength of the man isn’t in how many women loves him
It’s how he can be true to one woman in spite being loved by many.

  5. Miracle of a single Flower

    56

    Nothing is sweeter than love,
    Nothing stronger,
    Nothing higher,
    Nothing wider,
    Nothing more pleasant,
    Nothing fuller or better
    in heaven or earth;
for love is born of God.

    ~Written by Thomas à Kempis

  6. True Love is so Pure

    75

    When you love someone,
    you love the whole person,
just as he or she is,
    and not as you would
    like them to be.

    ~Leo Tolstoy

  7. Give Yourself a Moment

    264

    When you called out a name;
    but there was no encouragement
    and nobody came.
    Simply light a candle…
feel the comfort in its glow.
    Soon you’ll sense a ‘Presence’
    and your loneliness will go.
    Refresh yourself each day…
    within the candle’s ray.
Use the ‘Light’ it sheds on you…
to chase darkness away. Continue reading

  8. Real Friends

    A real friend would forgive
    If I did something wrong
A real friend will lend a hand
    Whenever I’m not strong
    A real friend would listen
    If I tried to speak
    A real friend will accept
Whether I am strong or weak
    A real friend would care
    If I ever fell ill
    A real friend will know
    How I really feel
A real friend would always be there
If I need them by my side
A real friend will remember me
    Long after I have died
A real friend would be forever
    If I even moved away
A real friend will never truly leave
In each other’s hearts we shall always stay

  9. Living with Love, Grace, and Gratitude

    45

    I’m thankful for the birds;
I feel like they’re singing just for me
when I get up in the morning…
Saying, ‘Good morning. You made it’

    ~Johnny Cash

  10. Never Alone

    98

    I am never alone.
    I have you near
    I am never alone
    I have nothing to fear
    I am never alone
    You help me stand
    I cry oceans of tears
you dry each and every one.
    you are my miracle
    you are my sun
    I am never alone
    I’ve reached out my hand
    We together are strong
    together we stand.

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
