1. Seeds of Love

    66

We all have the seeds of love in us.
We can develop this wonderful source of energy,
    nurturing the unconditional love
that does not expect anything in return.

    ~Thich Nhat Hanh

  2. Feeling Free

    59

    Choose Happiness
    Choose Life
    Choose to be Embraced
Choose to Know who you really are
    Choose to Let go
    Choose to
    SMILE

    Stop carrying the past
    See how light you feel
    Choose to Walk on
    Without your Burden

    Get used to
    FEELING FREE

    Don’t regret the changes

  3. Look To The Light

    64

Where Do I go from here?
Where does life start or end
When there are so many bends?
Can it be there is no beginning?
    No ending or between?

Perhaps it is just becoming, existing and
    The endlessness of being.
Look for where the brightest light shines
To show your path to you
    One with all the signs
That point to a better view

    Travel round the roadblocks
    Whenever they appear and remember!
    When life is clear
Spirit is near so trust and progress
    And let go of fear.

  4. A New Dawn

    47

Beautiful Dawn. Photo credit: Randy Neufeldt

    This moment can be
    A New Dawn,
    A New Day….
    Forgive, Forget,
    and move on
    Ask your self;
Do I wish to keep repeating the pattern?
Perhaps it’s time for something NEW

    ~Written by Julie Stuart

  5. The serenity of the day

    49

    Air is warm
    Laying down enjoying
    The serenity of the day
    Listening to sounds passing
    Wondering what they are
    Breeze passes over me
    A touch so light
A tickle on a babies skin
    Playing with the leaves
    Creating the lazy feel
    Look up at the sky
    So blue and unchanging
    Lost in its vastness
    Wishing time would stop
    Breathing oh so lightly
    Chest hardly moves
    Relaxing
Not a care in the world

    Poem title: Relaxing

  6. Kids Thoughts on Love

    14

    When someone loves you,
the way they say your name is different.
You just know that your name
    is safe in their mouth.

    ~Billy – age 4

  7. Life Is Precious

    48

    Life is so precious
    And each day a gift
    So enjoy every minute
As it were you last to live

    Cherish your loved ones
    Hug them tight
    Share with them your heart
    And your time

    Nothing is forever
    And life goes so fast
    Each minute that passes
Is one you can’t get back

    When troubles arrive
And knock you off your feet
    Stand up and smile
And remember life is too sweet

    Every morning when you wake,
    Decide right from the start,
That “Today will be a good day”
And let it all in with an open heart

  8. You Always Know What To Do and Say

    88

You always know what to do and say.
To touch my heart and make my day.
You always know the perfect gift.
To give my spirit that extra lift.
    Thank you for your thoughtfulness,
    you really made me smile.
Thank you most for being you,
    with your special style.
May you be blessed with all good things,
    and never feel deprived.
May your life be always full of love,
    as long as you’re alive.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
