1. Faith

    507

    Faith is not the belief
that God will do what you want.
It is the belief that God
    will do what is right.
    ~Max Lucado
  2. YOU have to decide

    46

When something bad happens to you, YOU have to decide whether you're going to MOVE ON or whether you're going to let it RUIN YOUR WHOLE LIFE.  ~Sonya Parker quote
  3. It's up to you

    247

It's up to you if you let them ruin your day, or if you learn to stand up for yourself and accept yourself just the way you are. ~Unknown
  4. Keep waiting till you find the right one

    373

Never ever hurt yourself over someone who does not love you back. You need to love yourself. Take good care of yourself. Get up, move around, dress yourself up. Check yourself in a mirror till you fall in love with your own reflection. Then you will realize that, this particular person you have been falling for does not deserve you. Do not hurt or harm yourself over someone who does not have any feeling for you. Keep smiling. Wait for the next person in line. Don't fall in love too soon. Keep waiting till you find the right one, otherwise live alone! ~Jendhamuni
  5. As the mountain flower forces its way through

    364

There are those who do not hold that there is any innate goodness to mankind. To them I say, had you lived my life, you would not believe it. I have known the depths to which mortals are capable of descending, and I have seen the heights. I have seen how kindness and compassion may grow in the unlikeliest of places, as the mountain flower forces its way through the stern rock. ~Jacqueline Carey
  6. A garden of Fear

    40

Fear is like a weed in a garden. Once you allow it to take root, it spreads, replicating itself, until, eventually, it chokes out all the other life there. Trust, love, kindness – none of those things can ever really bloom in a garden of fear. ~Breeana Puttroff

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

A Handful of Leaves

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
