1. The power

    268

The power behind taking responsibility for your actions lies in putting an end to negative thought patterns. You no longer dwell on what went wrong or focus on whom you are going to blame. You don't waste time building roadblocks to your success. Instead, you are set free and can now focus on succeeding. ~Lorii Myers
  2. Before crossing

    503

Always think extra hard before crossing over to a bad side, if you were weak enough to cross over, you may not be strong enough to cross back! ~Victoria Addino
  3. You are a person, beautiful and unique

    465

You are a person, beautiful and unique… express yourself, strengthen yourself, kick yourself, wet yourself with tears, dry yourself with confidence, be who you are, do what you want, say how you feel, love like its real, never let anyone suppress you, never let anything make you believe your life isn't worth living… ~Unknown quote
  4. When you have lost your way

    203

When you have lost your way, when the world appears as if it is crumbling around you, perhaps, just maybe, you should close your eyes. By looking outward we forget the strength that is given inward. We can only see part of the picture with our eyes open. But, when they are closed, we see as a whole. We concentrate not on what we can see, but on the faith of what we know to be true. ~Rachel Van Dyken
  5. Someone really special

Anyone can come into your life and say how much they love you.  It takes someone really special to stay in your life and show how much they love you. ~marcandangel
  6. Pray silently with simplicity

    121

Pray silently with simplicity every day to stay cool and calm in mind, composed and collected in heart; courageous and connected to own soul, to lay the way for a peaceful life. ~Anuj Somany

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
