1. Blood River – A dedication to all Khmers

    12
I just put together this song last night. This song is a wake up call for all Khmers around the world. Please get up and save our country together. Our Mother (Cambodia), has been tortured and is crying for our helps. Please put our differences aside and work together to save our country. ~Jendhamuni
  2. Never Beg anyone for Mercy, NEVER!

    88

Learn to face all kinds of problems on your own, without begging anyone for help or mercy. Do not bow your heads before any one, except to the Great teachings of the wise. Do not cry over every little thing. Your tears is more valuable, do not let go the value of your tears. It does not matter how bad anyone hurt you, never let go your Kindness and Compassion. ~Jendhamuni
  3. Love is a Weapon of Light

    187

Love is a weapon of Light, and it has the power to eradicate all forms of darkness. That is the key. When we offer love even to our enemies, we destroy their darkness and hatred… ~Yehuda Berg
  4. Until you break that Chain

    36

The person who hurt you–who raped you or killed your family–is also here. If you are still angry at that person, if you haven't been able to forgive, you are chained to him. Everyone could feel the emotional truth of that: When someone offends you and you haven't let go, every time you see him, you grow breathless or your heart skips a beat. If the trauma was really severe, you dream of revenge. Above you, is the Mountain of Peace and Prosperity where we all want to go. But when you try to climb that hill, the person you haven't forgiven weighs you down. It's a personal choice whether or not to let go. No one can tell you how long to mourn a death or rage over a rape. But you can't move forward until you break that chain. ~Leymah Gbowee
  5. Free your Mind

    16

Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer. ~Barbara Kingsolver

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
